The combined annual training camp of NCCs 5 (Andhra) Girls Battalion came to a grand close on Saturday. Five hundred and fourteen cadets from Chittoor and Kadapa districts took part in the camp.

In the ten-day camp, rigorous training was provided to the cadets to develop all-round personality and inculcate qualities like leadership and discipline in them. Camp Commandant Col. Kulbhushan and Deputy Commandant Capt. Rajitha Divakaran supervised the activities like drill, physical training, firing, obstacle training and map reading.

Fire fighting demonstration by the fire services department, visit to the Regional Science Centre, Chandragiri Fort and Kalyani Dam were part of the camp, said a press release.
