NCC cadets were imparted firearm training with light machine guns at a camp held in the NCC Battalion office in Telugu Ganga Colony at Mamillapalli here on Sunday. The cadets are trained in assembling, handling and repairing firearms as it is essential to pass the C certificate exam, Capt. C. Vijayabhaskar said.

Moreover, those aspiring to join the Army will benefit as Army personnel need to rectify their firearms when required, particularly during wars, he said.

The doubts expressed by students were clarified by officials in the camp.
