KADAPA: Department of Mechanical Engineering of JNTU College of Engineering, Pulivendula, will conduct ‘Yantra-09’, a two-day national-level technical symposium for students from September 23.

B. Krishna Gandhi, Vice-Chancellor of JNTU, Anantapur, will be chief guest. G. Muralikrishna, Vice-President (Technical) of Bharathi Cement Corporation will deliver keynote address on ‘project management in cement industry – a case study’. A. Madhusudan Rao, Deputy General Manager (Mech.), Uranium Corporation of India, Thummalapalle project, will speak on ‘role of UCIL in nuclear power generation’ and K. Ramachandra Reddy, Director of Brahmani Industries will be guest of honour, symposium coordinator V. Venugopal Reddy said in a statement.

Mechanical Engineering students would take part in ‘Pratibha’, a paper presentation, ‘Prashma’ – a technical quiz and other events.
