National Pharmacy Week was celebrated in Aditya and Sai Aditya Pharmacy colleges in Surampalem complex and the valedictory function was held on Friday. As part of it seminars and scientific poster presentations on various advanced areas of Pharmaceutical sciences are being held in this week-long celebration.
In one of the seminars conducted on Friday on Modern Trends In Drug Development, the Principal Scientist, G. Rambabu of GVK Bio-Science, Hyderabad - discussed about the novel and innovative research methods adopted by the major pharma companies.
He spoke in detail about the importance of proteomics, informatics and pharmacology in drug discovery.
The chief guest of the seminar, Kameswara Rao the Superintendent of Government General Hospital mentioned about the critical role played by the pharmacy professional in the health care network. He distributed the prizes for the winners of the scientific poster presentations.
