When in Rome, do like the Romans do. The popular adage is taken seriously by the politicians if not others. The other day when TDP president and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu went to the old city to open the party office, he chose to wear something different from his regular attire and in tune with people's choice in the old city.
Sherwani being Hyderabad's popular attire that reflects the Muslim culture of the city was the obvious choice for the former Chief Minister. Political parties might have criticised him for trying to please the minorities but it has to be accepted that Mr. Naidu looked pleasant in the outfit.
