HYDERABAD: The TDP has sought re-introduction of ballot paper in the coming elections to the GHMC in view of the doubts expressed over the functioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

In a letter to the State Election Commissioner, TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu wanted use of EVMs be suspended temporarily as the debate raged over efficacy of EVMs in reliable recording of votes.

Earlier, addressing a meeting where a senior city BJP leader, Koppula Narasimha Reddy joined the Telugu Desam Party along with a large number of his supporters, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu wanted people to give a shock to the Congress by defeating it in the GHMC elections for neglecting people’s interests.
