People of Telangana were perturbed by the protest undertaken by TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu, said TRS district president T Ravinder Rao.

At a time when the five-decade-old dream of Telangana people was coming true, every effort was being made by the Seemandhra leaders to foil it. Even Chandrababu Naidu who claims to be a mature politician and who worked as Chief Minister for a long time was also conspiring against the formation of Telangana State.

“Is not the protest at Delhi aimed at forcing the Congress to withdraw the decision?” TRS leaders Ravinder Rao, Md Nayeemuddin, A Ramesh questioned.

Chandrababu Naidu claimed that he stalled the formation of separate Telangana, during his recent tour in Guntur district. Now he claims he was not against Telangana. The TDP leaders belonging to Telangana region should quit the party immediately as was done by the YSRC leaders in the region. “In the name of equal justice, the TDP Seemandhra leaders including Naidu are trying to stall the formation of Telangana,” they alleged. Leaders such as Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Revuri Prakash Reddy should immediately quit the party instead of supporting Naidu.Chandrababu Naidu who failed to respond when lakhs of employees, students and people took to the streets during ‘Sakala Janula Samme’ now came out in support of Seemandhra agitations and that shows his anti-Telangana attitude, he added. Ravinder Rao strongly condemned the allegations that TRS workers damaged the NTR statue at Narasampet. The police would investigate and bring out the truth, he said.
