Ridicules Union government for ordering judicial inquiry into the incident
TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu has demanded the government to implement death penalty to the culprits involved in the heinous crime of gang-rape of a girl in New Delhi recently.
Addressing a huge gathering in Jubileenagar of Karimnagar mandal on Sunday as part of ‘Vasthunna Meekosam’ padayatra. which entered the ninth day in Karimnagar district, Mr. Naidu launched a scathing attack against the Congress government for failing to provide security to girls in the country. Ridiculing the Union government for ordering judicial inquiry into the gang-rape incident, he asked “Who wants judicial probe? Just hang the culprits involved in the heinous crime of gang-rape so that the other criminals would be scared of their life and do not commit such offences in future,” he pointed out.
He flayed the Delhi police for resorting to mindless violence of attacking the youth protesting against the gang-rape. Expressing concern over the rampant corruption in the country, he said that the mafias were ruling the roost in the country with the money possessed through illegal methods.
People accorded a rousing reception to TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu in the rural areas of Karimnagar mandal during his ‘Vastunna Meekosam’ padayatra which entered the ninth day in Karimnagar district on Sunday.
Mr. Naidu launched his padayatra from Nagunuru village. He visited Jubileenagar, Chamanpalli, Dubbapalli, Cherlabuthkur and other villages. Karimnagar legislator Gangula Kamalakar was present.
When Mr. Naidu carried ‘Bathkammas’ on his head, the villagers cheered . Being a Sunday, the students outnumbered at all villages.
