Nagaraja takes charge as ED of HPVP

Senior BHEL official A.S. Nagaraja on Saturday assumed charge as the Executive Director of the newly created Heavy Plates & Vessels Plant (HPVP) here.

He earlier worked as Director (Operations) of Bharat Heavy Plate and Vessels after it was made a subsidiary of BHEL. Close on the heels of sanction of Modified Draft Rehabilitation Scheme by BIFR envisaging merger of BHPV with the Maharatna company BHEL BHPV became the 17th manufacturing unit of BHEL, company release said. The unit will hereafter be named as Heavy Plates & Vessels Plant.

Prior to taking over as the in-charge of the Vizag unit, Mr. Nagaraja worked as the Executive Director of BHEL in Bangalore.
