For the weekend crowd it was a perfect bash to unwind from the hectic workload

VISAKHAPATNAM: Rocking music, colourful lights, gallons of foam bubbling out of the swimming pool and a euphoric crowd. Saturday night fever gripped the city as hordes of people came down to The Park to enjoy the evening at the ‘foam’ party at Aqua.

After conducting theme-based events like ‘Underwater House’ and ‘Steam’, this time the focus was on ‘foam’. The spirits soared high when DJ Vishal of Tantra from The Park, Kolkata, took over and churned out some fast numbers to set the mood for the evening.

The racy numbers soon spread the mood, and eventually the place was turned into a dancing floor.

Dance floor

Soon, the swimming pool with bubbling foam rising it turned into a dance floor with the crowd enjoying every bit of the evening, dancing waist deep in the foam.

Fire flair tenders, flambéed cocktails, a la minute snacks, smoke machines and lasers added to the overall party mood and provided an awesome effect. And for the crowd, it was a perfect weekend bash to unwind from the week’s hectic workload. “Foam parties are a rave in the international as well as the Indian cosmopolitan party circuits,” said Ashish Bakshi, Associate Director-Food and Beverages at The Park.

With the city all geared up to rock for the times ahead, the hotel has already come up with a host of plans for the future. “We are planning for many such innovative events for the party crowd of the city. So be prepared for some more fireworks,” said Director -Operations of The Park Siraj Mukherjee.
