First multiplex in the State to be attached to a

three-star hotel

It will have two cinema halls with a seating capacity of 360 each

KARIMNAGAR: Good news for the people of Karimnagar district in general and town in particular.

The long-felt dream of a multiplex is all set for inauguration tentatively within a fortnight.

The Prathima Group of Companies has developed the state-of-the-art modern Prathima multiplex in the heart of Karimnagar town adjacent to the RTC bus station complex.

The Prathima multiplex is stated to the first of its kind in the State attached with a three-star hotel.

Incidentally, this is the first multiplex in the State after Hyderabad city. Giving details about the Prathima multiplex here on Friday, Prathima Group of Companies managing director B. Srinivas said that the facility would house two cinema halls with ultra modern digital sound systems and a seating capacity of 360 each.

48 rooms

He said that the complex would have 48 rooms and a three-star hotel at an affordable cost when compared to Hyderabad city.

It is also having restaurant, 24-hour coffee shop, bars, banquet halls, gaming zone including bowling alley, computer games.

The restaurants will also traditional recipe along with Chinese, tandoori, continental and Hyderabad biryani. The special attraction is the south Indian thali at an affordable cost of Rs. 60 per head.

CCTVs installed

The multiplex has allocated three floors for the shopping malls and with ample parking place in the cellar and in front of the complex.

They have also installed 56 close circuit cameras for the close surveillance of the complex and security of the visitors.

Mr. Srinivas Rao said that the prices in the restaurant and the gaming zone were very cheap when compared to Hyderabad.

Entertainment

He said that they had opened a multiplex in Karimnagar to provide full-entertainment to the entire family.

Mr. Srinivas Rao said that the multiplex would be tentatively declared open to the public within a fortnight after imparting complete training to 270 and odd employees in the complex. SVM (Sri Venkateshwara multiplex) chairman T Vijayender and director T Vinayender, Prathima multiplex chairman B. Prabhakar Rao and others were also present.
