‘Agitation will continue till separate Telangana State is formed, says TPF chief

Telangana Praja Front chairman Gaddar has stated that the State government cannot suppress the ongoing movement for Telangana State with guns and by arresting the agitators. He has also said that the agitation would continue till the separate State was formed.

Participating in a programme held at Toopran on Sunday, Mr. Gaddar alleged that the government has been trying to suppress the democratic agitation of the people from the region by using force instead of addressing the issue politically.

“The movement for separate Telangana State is alive since 1969 and it will continue and get intensified if not addressed by the Union government. Let the ongoing Sakala Janaula Samme achieve its literal meaning with everyone from the region participating in the movement,” he said demanding that the government withdraw cases against the agitators who had participated in the rail roko agitation.
