HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Vyavasaya Karmika Sangham has condemned the State Government's move to avoid payment of compensation for assigned lands it is acquiring for different projects.

Accusing Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy of adopting more "harmful" policies than his predecessor N. Chandrababu Naidu, the CPI (M)-affiliated sangham alleged that the Government had secured a stay in the Supreme Court on a judgment delivered by the Andhra Pradesh High Court on assigned lands without discussing the matter in the Assembly.
