Adilabad MLA Jogu Ramanna on Tuesday inaugurated the State-level kabaddi tournament under Panchayat Yuva Kreeda aur Khel Abhiyan (PYKKA) at Jainad mandal headquarter.

He said the tournament coinciding with the Jainad ‘jatara’ would help attract people towards the ancient Laxminarasimha Swamy temple.

Mr. Ramanna called upon the competitors to exhibit sportsman spirit during the tournament.

As many as 21 teams of boys and girls were participating in the three-day tournament except Kadapa (boys and girls) teams and Chittoor girls team. Adilabad Olympic Association president B. Goverdhan Reddy, District Cooperative Central Bank chairman M. Damodar Reddy, Additional Joint Collector Manohar and others participated.
