NALGONDA: A four-year-old boy, who went missing from Hyderabad, was traced at a lodge in Bhongir town on Friday.

According to sources, Pruthviraj, a resident of Osmanshahi in Hyderabad, who had gone missing from home along with Praveen, 21, a neighbour of their locality on Thursday, was found in a lodge in Bhongir on Friday afternoon.

Praveen allegedly checked into a lodge along with the boy, locked him from outside and left the place. On hearing the screams of the boy, the staff of the lodge brought him out of the room and informed the police.

The local police rushed to the place and traced Praveen on the basis of the cell phone number recorded in the register of the lodge. Later, the police handed over the boy to Afzalgunj police in the evening.
