Union Minister for Human Resource M.M. Pallam Raju has said that the Centre will ensure that Right to Education Act is strictly implemented by all state governments to give compulsory education to children from 1 to 8 classes. Speaking to media after visiting flood-hit Tuni, Kotananduru and Tondangi mandals on Saturday, he said that his ministry was keen in increasing number of polytechnics and ITIs in all states. DCC president Dommeti Venkateswarlu, MLA Rajah Ashok Babu, Collector Neetu Kumar, Additional Collector BV Ramarao and Municipal Commissioner Sarada Devi participated.
