was crucial to get better returns by farmers.
Chairing the the district-level Coordination Committee meeting organised by the Acharya N.G.Ranga Agriculture University's District Agriculture Advisory and transfer of Technology centre here, he said micro-nutrients management was imperative in Cotton and Redgram to cut on costs, improve productivity and increase production.
Agriculture Market Committee chairman Aiynabathina Ganasyam wanted the scientists to conduct more demonstrations so that farmers benefited from the latest farming techniques. District Coordinator B. Mukunda Rao gave a power-point presentation to highlight the latest agro-economic practices to enable farmers to get better yield in the coming kharif and rabi seasons.
