Signs MoU to explore courses that can be collaborated upon

Students can undergo first year MBA at KU and pursue second year at CMU

CMU MBA degree will be given subject to the condition that they pay concessional fee

WARANGAL: A team comprising Monica Holmes, Associate Dean and Director of MBA Programme and Judy Prince, Director of Graduate Admissions, Central Michigan University visited Kakatiya University for exploring courses that can be collaborated as part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two Universities.

They arrived on April 26 along with Mr. A.L.N.Prasad, Coordinator, CMU Information Centre and visited the Department of Commerce & Business Management, Department of Chemistry and the School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education and interacted with the faculty regarding the modalities of organizing MoU programmes.

After detailed discussions the team arrived at a conclusion that MBA programme can be started under collaborative programme wherein the students admitted to Kakatiya Univesrsity will undergo his/her first year MBA at KU and get transferred to CMU for the second year and get awarded CMU MBA degree subject to the condition that they pay concessional fee compared to other international students.

They get to complete the two years MBA of CMU within one year which will be considerable savings in the tuition as well as living expenses in USA.

Apart from this there will be faculty exchange between KU and CMU as well as joint workshops, symposiums and faculty seminars.

The MoU to this effect was signed by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. N.Linga Murthy and this programme will take effect soon.

This programme will benefit the students of this region with international transfers besides giving global exposure. to them.
