L&TMRH plans contest among school and college students to choose the lucky two
Good at singing, dancing and speaking extempore? You could be the brand ambassador for L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad (L&TMRH), the concessionaire building the elevated metro rail.
A boy and a girl from among schools and two more from colleges are to be chosen as brand ambassadors through a selection process set in motion by the company in its bid to reach out to its potential riders.
The invite to citizens – students, professionals, corporates, senior citizens, housewives, etc., to participate in the contest to select brand ambassadors has already received more than 25,000 entries.
“We want citizens to own up the project and have an emotional connect as metro rail is for the people of Hyderabad. We will use the brand ambassadors for our publicity campaigns during the construction phase,” explained L&TMRH Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer V.B. Gadgil.
Mr. Gadgil and his senior colleagues including Project Director M.P. Naidu and others have begun visiting schools and colleges interacting with the youngsters and their teachers, answering questions.
The corporate communication team has sent invitation kits to about 1,500 schools and colleges seeking their willingness to participate in the contest. Once interest is shown, the metro rail team makes its visit seeking spot registrations or (www.hmr-brandambsassad
