Kadapa: Pattana Indira Kranthi Patham Staff Welfare Association and association for protection of community organisers took out a rally from old RIMS to the Collectorate and ‘submitted a memorandum' to the late Chief Minister Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy's statue here on Wednesday.

Policy

As per Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddty's decision on HR policy to Pattana Indira Kranthi Patham staff as given to Grameena Indira Kranthi Patham, the G.O. No. 336 dated 28.02.2009, was issued, yet the policy has not come into force by the government.

Repeated memorandums were submitted by the staff to the Chief Minister, Minister for Municipal Administration, the Principle Secretary M.A. and U.D. and the MEPMA mission director, yet the concerned officials have taken no action in serving the workers.

In a view to notify the delay and the hardships being faced by the staff, the association has decided to go on a relay hunger strike from Wednesday. They demanded immediate action to be taken in this regard and submitted a copy of the memorandum to the District Revenue Officer Hema Sagar. Association president D. Gurukanta Gopinath, L. Gangulaiah secretary, T. Nagaraju, S. Bhavani and P.Subbareddy are members who will be participating in the relay hunger strike.
