Kakinada: Thousands of engineering and MCA students the first day of the two-day mega job mela that commenced at JNTU-Kakinada on Saturday. It was jointly organised by the JNTU-K and SynchroServe Global Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

Vice-Chancellor Allam Appa Rao declared the event open at the university auditorium in the presence of Collector M. Ravi Chandra who was the chief guest. Mr. Ravi Chandra was a student of the JNTU College of Engineering, Kakinada (JNTUCEK)

ADP, Avantel, Genpact, HCL, Honeywell, Infotech, Leisux, Miracle Soft, Power Mech, SynchroServe, Veda IIT, Incube, Soctronics, AMD, Wipro and 24/7 Customer are the companies that came for the talent hunt.

Mr. Ravi Chandra said when he studied engineering in the JNTUCEK, the number of companies that came for campus recruitments was limited.

Students of the present day were fortunate to have so many reputed companies offering jobs. What they need to do to succeed in their professions was hard work, which should not be confined to the educational campuses.

India required talented engineers for its future growth. Opportunities were aplenty but only the best would succeed, Mr. Ravi Chandra observed.
