Medical camp for scribes held

The Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ), Nellore district unit, in association with Swarna Bharat Trust, has conducted a free medical camp for journalists and their family members at Nellore Press Club on Sunday.

Medwin Hospitals roped in specialist doctors for treating patients at the camp.

Additional Joint Collector T. Seetaramaiah inaugurated the medical camp.

District Medical and Health Officer Ramanana Reddy, APUWJ district president A. Jaya Prakash, Swarna Bharat Trust CEO Sharat Babu and others were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Seetaramaiah asked mediapersons, photographers and cameramen to take care of their health and of their family members. He advised reporters to have regular medical check up.

The DM&HO complimented the APUWJ leaders for organising the camp and asked the journalists and their families to follow the prescription of the doctors for maintaining good health.

Doctors Lalith Mohan, Giridhar Srivastav, Sasidhar, K.V.R. Murthy, Ramesh Babu and others treated the patients for cardiology, ortho and other ailments at the camp.
