VISAKHAPATNAM: Registrations for the new batch for MBA entrance training at the city branch of Career Launcher has already started. Center director Deepti Abdullah said that the classes would start from April 30 at the campus here at Rama Talkies Junction. Modules and methods designed to clear the written test will be emphasised on the first half of the course. Special classes to clear the group discussion and personal interview will be conducted later.
Special all India-level mock MBA entrance tests would also be held from September. Classes would be conducted in three batches - CAT – 2008 re-takers batch, which would be a crash course, CAT-2008 regular course and CAT-2009 long-term course. The classrooms are equipped with audio-visual facilities and classes would be conducted using Power Point presentations.
“The focus will be on conceptual clarity of the topics and special emphasis will be given on personality development. Most of the students have strong academic foundations but lag in soft skills. We want to address this issue through our personality enhancement programmes and hold regular discussions on current affairs and classes on economics and business areas,” said Deepti.
