‘Chiranjeevi and his brother Pawan Kalyan have done more social service than the Minister’
KARIMNAGAR: Pawan Kalyan fans association district president Md Arif Ahmed strongly condemned the statements made by Minister for Marketing K. Mareppa against film actor Chiranjeevi.
The Minister alleged that the actor is selling the blood of fans through the blood banks.
In a press note here on Saturday, Mr. Arif said that the people of the State know very well the social service extended by the actor through his blood and eye banks for over a decade.
He alleged that the Minister made false and baseless allegations against the film actor to win the confidence of Chief Minister Y.S. Rajashekhar Reddy as he is scared of loosing his ministry.
Alleging that the Minister was scared of Chiranjeevi’s proposed entry into politics, he said that Chiranjeevi had decided to join politics only to do serve people.
“In spite of his stardom in the film industry, Chirajeevi decided to join politics for the uplift of the poorer sections of the society,” he said.
Mr. Arif said that the fans of Chiranjeevi and his brother Pawan Kalyan have done more social work than the Minister.
