HYDERABAD: M. Jayaraju, Salur mandal surveyor, in Vizianagaram district, was on Tuesday ‘caught’ by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials after accepting a bribe of Rs.60,000 for doing an official favour of conducting survey, prepare a sketch and report to the Tahsildar. These were required for issue of NOC regarding manganese mining lease applied by the complainant.

A press release issued by ACB here said he handed over the bribe amount to M. Shankar Prasad Patnaik, Deputy Tahsildar. The tainted cash was recovered by ACB.
