Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Chairman S. Siva Rama Subramanyam has exhorted management students to come up with novel ideas to develop the State into an industrial hub.

Inaugurating the Management Week called Busi Buzz-2011 being organised by the Department of Management Studies of Adikavi Nannaya University here on Wednesday, Mr. Subrahmanyam said the government was sparing no efforts to encourage young entrepreneurs to set up small or medium scale units by offering them subsidies.

He said events such as these would improve the managerial skills of the students, which would help them in their chosen field in future.

S. Teki, director of event, said such events would help students apply management concepts in their daily life.

In all, 200 students from East and West Godavari districts and other places are participating in the programme that will continue on Thursday too.

Events such as Bull Vs Bear, Young Manager, ‘Win as much as you can', Tower Building, Business Quiz, cultural events were conducted on the first day.

University Registrar Bhargava Rama Mohan Rao and principal Suresh Varma were special guests at the programme.

R.K. Study Centre, Rajahmundry, SBI Life Insurance, and Gokul TVS are the chief sponsors of the event.
