The Dharma Prachara Parishad of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), in association with the Endowments department, is conducting; ‘Mana Gudi’ programme in 800 temples in East Godavari district from August 8 to 21.
Announcing this at a press conference here on Saturday, Assistant Commissioner of the Endowments department P.L.V. Ramesh Babu said that the programme was aimed at propagating Hindu dharma and make people aware of the importance and sacredness of temples. He said that the programme would begin with Alaya Sobha event on August 8.
A religious discourse would be held in Rajahmundry on August 11 and Kumkuma Puja would be performed in 108 temples on August 12. Gopuja would be performed on August 14 and massive Varalakshmi Vratam would be performed on August 16. Satyanarayana Vratams would be performed on August 17. Mr. Ramesh Babu released a publicity poster on the religious event.
