A 65-year-old physically challenged man waiting for a certificate at the Software for Assessment of Disability Access, Rehabilitation, and Empowerment (SADARAM) camp here died of heart attack on Saturday.
The deceased P. Tirupatiah, who was standing in the queue, collapsed all of a sudden at the Government General Hospital, where the camp was held.
Doctor at the hospital attended on him. But he could not be saved, the Kandukur town police said.
Following this, the assembled people staged an agitation. DRDA Project Director A. Padmaja assured them to ensure assistance from the government following which they relented.
