Instructors trained by Japanese experts explain difficult concepts to students

In contrast to dull and drab theory classes, students of a city school were full of energy, learning tough concepts easily during a demonstration thanks to innovative method of teaching of science introduced by Zee Learn Gakken Science Academy.

Students of the Indian Blossoms International School (IBIS) were bubbling with enthusiasm as best of Japanese education in the field of science was introduced to them.

Instructors trained by Japanese experts explained to students the difficult to understand Bernoulli's principle as also the Pascal's law with hands-on experiments with tool kits developed by the academy. “We intend to improve conceptual understanding and develop scientific temper among students by providing hands-on experiment tools and produce young scientists,” Zee Learn Regional Manager Chandra Kiran said while talking to The Hindu on the sidelines.

Students were explained about sound, light, atmospheric pressure, and surface tension by Zee Learn Area Manager Shaik Sadiq. “In our school, we give importance for students to learn through observation, exploration and reflection,” IBIS academic director Namineni Mohana Rao said.

IBIS principal P. Kadhiresan and science teachers attended the programme.
