KARIMNAGAR: For the cause of universal peace, an Ayyappa Swamy devotee of Karimnagar town has decided to conduct maha padayatra from Karimnagar town to Sabarimala temple shrine from October 26.

Gadapa Nagaraju, an Ayyappa devotee, who had already participated in the maha padayatra from Karimnagar town to Sabarimala on six occasions in the past, would be participating in the padayatra for the seventh consecutive time during this year.

The padayatra would be launched from Ayyappa temple in Karimnagar town on October 26 and reach Secunderabad on November 3. From Secunderabad, he would participate in the padayatra along with other devotees led by Venugopal Guruswamy. The devotees would traverse through odd conditions and reach Sabarimala on December 10 and have special darshan of Lord Ayyappa. Devotees interested to participate in padayatra from Karimnagar to Sabarimala were informed to approach the Ayyappa temple for further details.
