The Lok Satta Party has decided to contest at least five panchayats in each mandal in the ensuing local body elections.

It has asked the young and educated persons to come forward to contest the elections and participate in the development of their villages.

Party’s election coordinator D. Vishnu Murthy, town wing president K. Poli Naidu, and general secretary P. Rambabu interacted with leaders of seven constituencies to chalk out an action plan.

The party leaders strongly condemned what they called the failure of the government in checking belt shops in the district. They said that people would teach a lesson to the ruling party in the ensuing elections.
