Lok Satta State leader T.R. Jagannatha Reddy launched the party’s membership drive in Kadapa town on Friday and called upon youth, women, farmers, weaker and downtrodden sections and minorities to enrol as members.

Lok Satta will give opportunities to the new leadership, he said and remarked that hereditary politics had become the order of the day in conventional political parties. The party was striving to develop leaders who would work for a corruption-free society, Mr. Jagannatha Reddy said.

The membership drive will continue till January 31, he said. District general secretary Gampa Tirupati said the party would strive to widen its base. The party’s district president P. Venugopal participated.
