NIA has already begun probe into Hyderabad blasts

Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Thursday said the Centre had some intelligence inputs that terrorists might strike at some places and had accordingly sent advisories to all State governments. Though he said that a few cities were put on high alert, he did not confirm whether Hyderabad was one of them. “We had information… from nationwide [intelligence] inputs about possible attacks for the last two days. Few cities were put on high alert…all States were alerted,” Mr. Shinde told journalists after holding an emergency meeting in the North Block post-blasts. He also refused to name any terrorist outfit. “We should not come to conclusion,” he said.
