Rajya Sabha M.V. Mysoora Reddy, who is contesting as Telugu Desam Party candidate for Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency, said on Tuesday that the Communist parties would canvass for the TDP in Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula Assembly constituencies.

The CPI had already extended its support to the TDP and its district secretary P. Krishnamurthy participated in nomination-filing by Dr. Mysoora Reddy and former MLA M.A. Gafoor had announced the CPI(M)'s support to the TDP. Dr. Mysoora Reddy and former TDP Member of Parliament K. Yerran Naidu visited the Communist party offices here and invited their leaders and functionaries to take part in canvassing. Dr. Reddy asserted that he would defeat Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy.

Mr. Yerran Naidu alleged that YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jaganmohana Reddy had entered into match-fixing with Gali Janardhana Reddy, Karnataka Minister of BJP.

He asserted that people would not believe the YSR Congress Party allegations of match-fixing between the Congress and TDP.
