‘The varsity has been recognised by the University Grants Commission'

Krishna University will conduct entrance examinations for post graduate courses and the filled–in applications should be sent on or before April 21 without fine, according to university director of Directorate of Admissions Basaveswara Rao. Speaking at a seminar on the entrance exams at KBN College on Monday, Mr. Rao said the Krishna University had the recognition of the University Grants Commission, and he said that he wanted to dispel the doubts about the functioning of the university. “The apprehensions are not true. We are conducting the entrance exams for post graduate courses soon.

By faring well in the exams the students can get fee concessions and scholarships,” he added.

He said applications will be received up to April 30 with fine.

KBN College principal P. Krishna Murthy said that the entrance exams were conducted in the name of Krucet - 2012 and asked the students to approach the PG office at the college premises to clarify their doubts. Courses director K. R Satyanarayana, senior lecturer Dr. V. Jyothi and others took part I the seminar.
