Parvataneni Brahmayya Siddhartha College of Arts and Science will host a two-day Krishna University inter-collegiate kabaddi tournament for men on November 8 and 9 in which 15 colleges from the district will take part, according to organising secretary P.A. Choudary. In a release here on Monday, Mr. Choudary said Minister for Secondary Education K. Parthasaradhi would be the chief guest while college convenor P.L.N. Prasad would preside over the function. “In charge vice-chancellor of Krishna and Acharya Nagarjuna Universities K. Viyyanna Rao would be the distinguished guest. The prize distribution function would be held on November 9 at 5 p.m. in which District Sports Development Officer B. Sudhakar would be the chief guest,” he added. Vijayawada's Andhra Loyola, Kakarabharthi Bhavanarayana, Satahavana, SRR & CVR, P.B. Siddhartha Arts and Science, Syed Appalaswamy College, Jaggaiahpet's SGS College, Machilipatnam's Hindu College, Vuyyur's AG & SG Siddhartha College, Gudivada's ANR College, Nuzvid's DAR College, Nandigama's KVR College, Pamarru's TSR & ERR College, Buddhavaram's VKR College and Movva's VSR College would take part in the knockout-cum-league tournament, he said.
