GUNTUR: Telugu Desam Officials Spokesperson Kodela Siva Prasada Rao has lashed out at Chief Minister K. Rosaiah blaming for the series of turmoil's the state has been witnessing over the last few months.
At a press conference here on Friday, Mr. Siva Prasada Rao said that the ineptitude of the State Government was responsible for the Telangana turmoil. Had the Chief Minister K. Roshaiah handled the situation better, the TRS chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao would not have made it such a big issue.
Even as the Government was coming to terms with the unrest, the State has been witnessing a series of tragedies beginning with the boat tragedy in West Godavari, to the recent disaster at mines in Chimakurthy. He said that people of the State were at a loss in finding a solution to the present unrest and blamed the Roshaiah Government for its lop-sided policies that were leading to instability in the State.
He also warned that the party would step up agitation against rising prices and hike in fuel prices if the Government did not announce a roll back.
The fuel price hike had a cascading effect and the prices of essential goods was on the rise despite new crop coming into market, he opined.
