T-JAC chairman M. Kodandaram said that Telangana agitation would be intensified and taken to its peak after January 28 if the Congress-led-UPA government at the Centre fails to keep its promise as regards the delivery of separate statehood.

Addressing a public meeting organised in connection with the completion of 1,111 days of deeksha by the JAC activists in Bodhan on Friday, Prof. Kodandaram said that since the Congress has a history of reneging on its promises, people of Telangana should be careful.

Earlier in the day here, he released the calendar published by Telangana PMPs’ Association.

Telangana Nagara Samithi leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy praised the Bodhan JAC saying that it created a record in the history of the Telangana agitation by taking up deeksha for more than 1,100 days.

Thus, Bodhan, a historic town, once again carved out a niche for itself, he said.

TRS Legislature Party leader Etela Rajender, MLA Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, T-JAC district chairman I. Gopal Sarma and others spoke.
