There was all-round criticism of the Chief Minister by Telangana Congress leaders, with Minister D. K. Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar urged the party president Sonia Gandhi to sack the Chief Minister. He charged that Mr. Reddy was trying to create hatred among the people of Telangana and Seemandhra leading to trouble. Mr. Goverdhan Reddy said the party should not tolerate the Chief Minister for opposing the CWC decision.
