The Kosaraju Charitable Trust, in association with the District Football Association, is organising a football tournament at the Railway Stadium here from February 3 to 10.

Ten teams, including two from Odisha and three from Hyderabad, are participating in the tournament, chairman of the trust K. Gopalakrishna informed on Friday. Winner will receive the KCT trophy.

The trust, formed in memory of Kosaraju Subramanyeswara Rao in 2005, spent Rs. 5 lakh on computerisation and improving infrastructure at the St. Anthony’s High School; adopted 30 bright but poor students of the school and 20 of the Prema Samajam School. While one of the pupils was now with Infosys, five others studied polytechnic and secured good jobs. Two others are studying MBBS and B.Tech. with the help of the trust, Mr. Gopalakrishna said.
