HYDERABAD: The 30-year agreement between Kamineni and Wockhardt hospitals seems to be on the brink with the latter alleging on Wednesday that the Kamineni group had served a legal caveat seeking to end the partnership.

The legal notice was served a month ago, Vikramsingh Raghu Vanshi, chief operating officer, Wockhardt Hospitals, told media persons. He said the Kamineni management had intimated the same earlier, but Wockhardt had preferred to continue the partnership, which had proved to be successful.

However, he alleged that other attempts were being made over the last few days to force Wockhardt to exit the partnership. The Kamineni-Wockhardt partnership was that of a ‘relationship hospital’, the ninth such initiative by the Wockhardt group.

The aim was to optimise existing infrastructure such as land and buildings.
