Asks Dalai Lama to go back
ONGOLE: Virasam leader G. Kalyana Rao created a flutter in the court here on Friday by raising slogans against visiting Tibetan leader Dalai Lama.
Police produced Mr. Rao in a court here in connection with a case of holding a public meeting at his native village Alakurapadu without permission in 2002. The magistrate has adjourned the case to January 17.
As the police took him out of the court, Mr. Rao raised slogans asking Dalai Lama to go back. He said Dalai Lama represented `Manuvadam'. Police whisked Mr. Rao away even as press photographers were busy taking his pictures..
