Noted film director Padmasri K. Viswanath was presented the title ‘Viswa Vikyata Darsaka Sarvabhouma' at a function organised by the TSR Lalitha Kala Parishad on the occasion of the 27th Maha Kumbhabhishekam at Ramakrishna Beach here on Monday.
Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas S. Jaipal Reddy, who participated as chief guest, hailed Rajya Sabha Member T. Subbarami Reddy for organising the Maha Kumbhabhishekam without a break for the last 26 years.
Transport Minister Botcha Satyanarayana described TSR as a multi-faceted personality for his involvement in politics, spirituality, and films.
Minister for Infrastructure and Investments Ganta Srinivasa Rao and director D. Rama Naidu also spoke.
Head of Sri Sarada Peetham Sri Swaroopanandendra Swamy gave his blessings.
Actors Manju Bhargavi and Tulasi were present.
Responding to the felicitation, Mr. Viswanath hailed TSR for his activities through his Seva Peetham and Lalitha Kala Parishad and said that he was blessed to have received the award on the holy Sivarathri Day.
