Awareness camp

Senior civil judge and secretary of Srikakulam District Legal Services Authority Moka Suvarnaraju on Thursday said the students who involved in ragging would bring bad name to the family as well as to the colleges concerned.

He said that the students who violated Andhra Pradesh Prohibition of Ragging Act-1997 would be imprisoned and imposed heavy penalty up to Rs.15,000. Anti-ragging awareness camp was held at Sri Vaishnavi College of Engineering. Mr. Suvarnaraju said that students would spoil their lives if they were involved in ragging of their juniors.
