Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Vijayawada, will impart training in vocational courses to unemployed youth to help them set up self-employment units.
The training classes will commence on May 1, said the Sansthan director V. Srinadh.
Beginning from May 1, training will be given in light motor vehicle driving (15 days), jam and juice-making (10 days), hand embroidery from May 5 (2 months), machine embroidery (2 months), home craft (seven days), refrigeration and air-conditioning (3 months), electrician (2 months), beauty culture (3 months), certificate course in medical lab technology (6 months), mixie mechanism (3 days) and computer software (2 months).
From May 6, training will be given in inverter servicing (1 month), from May 8, DTP (2 months) and air-cooler mechanism (1 month) and from May 9, fabric painting (1 month), home appliances mechanism (15 days), cutting and tailoring (3 months), flower-making (10 days), pot-painting (7 days) and colour dying and printing (1 month).
