The changed format of the AIEEE (now rechristened JEE Main) will be held on Sunday at four centres in the State – Warangal, Guntur, Khammam and Tirupati in the offline mode.
With no offline centre in Hyderabad, thousands of aspirants will be taking the test either at Warangal or Khammam. It is expected that 36,000 aspirants will appear for the test at 61 examination centres in Warangal. Students from Rayalasema area will write at Tirupati and those from coastal Andhra will appear at either Khammam or Guntur. Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam have online centres, but not many have preferred to take the online test to be held from April 8 to 25. Officials said about 16 helplines have been set up to assist students in Warangal centre.
