Families of those who died in the accident that happened at Bongaram village in Pedabayalu mandal on Thursday would be extended help under the Apatbandhu scheme and the injured would be provided the best medical aid, Joint Collector and Project Officer in-charge of ITDA Paderu Pravin Kumar said on Friday.
Mr. Pravin Kumar called on the injured undergoing treatment at the Area Hospital at Paderu and the PHC, G. Madugula and inquired them about the accident and the medical aid they were receiving. Three were killed at the spot and one on his way to King George Hospital here. Families of each deceased would be given Rs. 50,000 and also insurance sum under the Aaam Admi Bima Yojana scheme.
Six were admitted at KGH and two each at Area Hospital, Paderu and PHC, G. Madugula. Earlier he visited the injured at KGH and asked the doctors to provide the best treatment.
The Joint Collector appreciated the ITDA officers and Medical Officers for providing help to the injured.
Mr. Pravin Kumar said steps would be taken to improve the transport facility.
