HYDERABAD: The Government will issue the much-awaited order, lifting ban on transfer of its staff for a month.

This facility is normally allowed to employees during summer to facilitate shifting of their children to other places for education purpose or to enable them to join their spouses working elsewhere.

P. Ramakantha Reddy, Principal Secretary, Finance, said here on Monday that the department had finally received the necessary instructions to issue the order from Chief Secretary J. Harinarayan after clearance from Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. The order, therefore, would be issued on Tuesday.

Sources said transfer benefit would be subject to two conditions completion of service for two years at a place, genuine problems like illness and spouse separation. All transfers would be within the framework of G.O. No. 610, the sources said.
