The National Agriculture Insurance Corporation (NAIC) has released Rs. 15.8 crore towards settlement of crop insurance claims for farmers who suffered losses due to drought in 2011. The Corporation will release the remaining amount of the total Rs. 158 crore of claim settlements of 50,080 farmers in Adilabad district in due course of time, according to Lead District Manager P. Ravi Kumar. - Staff Reporter
