Home Minister and district in-charge Minister Sabita Indra Reddy has assured that all farmers, who lost their crops due to floods in the last season, would get input subsidy from the government. Attending different programmes in Ramachandrapuram Assembly constituency on Friday, she said farmers should avail 25 paise loans as women groups are utilising the same in best way.

She laid foundation for Rs. 6.3-cr water supply scheme at Velampalem.

She inaugurated a Primary Health Center at Vella in the constituency along with MP G.V. Harshakumar and MLA Thota Trimurthulu.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Harshakumar said coconut farmers in Konaseema would get more minimum support price this year as he spoke to the Prime Minister and the Union Agriculture Minister yesterday in Delhi. Mr. Thrimurthulu said the water supply scheme for which foundation was laid on Friday will cater the needs of 30,000 people in 29 villages.
